GM released the Cadillac Fleetwood in 1986 as four-door sedan or two-door coupe that shared the same C-Body with other GM models, such as the Buick Electra and Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight. The powerful luxury passenger vehicle was produced with 4.1 liters to 4.9 liters engines, and four-speed automatic transmission. Aesthetic alterations were made to the exterior features, with minimal changes to the engine design. Common maintenance tasks for Fleetwood owners consist of regular oil and filter changes, as well as tire checks. Details of maintenance schedules, as well as full body repair work, can be found in print and online versions of the Cadillac Fleetwood 1986-1987 repair manual.
