The Chevrolet vans went into production in the early 60’s to compete directly with similar models from Ford and Dodge. The G10 was the light version of the heavy duty van, which included a modified passenger platform. The second generation from 1968 changed many design features from the original, including lowering of headlights and grill, as well as options for a longer wheel base. Engine sizes varied from 3.8 liter to 5.7 liter with models available in both automatic and manual transmission. Repair and maintenance schedules are available in our fully comprehensive Chevrolet G10 repair manuals, which can be purchased as either a print or digital copy.
