The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 was one of America's top selling pick-up trucks. It featured four-speed or six-speed automatic transmission, V6 and V8 engines, and rear or four-wheel drive with power assisted steering and ABS brakes on most models.
This was the second generation of the incredibly popular Chevy pick-up series which featured independent front suspension with coil-over shock absorbers and solid rear axles fitted with leaf springs and shock absorbers.
A typical maintenance routine includes three-monthly engine oil change, transmission fluid changes every three months, and six-monthly seat belt checks.
