Hillman Car Repair Manuals

Hillman was founded in 1907 near Coventry. As with many motor manufacturers, Hillman started life as a bicycle maker, but then moved into making large-engined luxury vehicles. In 1928 the Rootes brothers took over the company and merged it with the Humber brand. The company continued with reasonable success, building iconic cars such as the Hillman Minx, rear-engined Hillman Imp, and Hillman Hunter saloon. After the takeover of Rootes in 1967 the company continued, and produced the Hillman Avenger saloon in 1970. The Hillman name continued until 1976. At Haynes, we have an extensive range of Hillman repair manuals and online procedures available for professional mechanics and DIY car enthusiasts alike. We can give you all the guidance you need.
