Locate the engine oil dipstick
Look at the end of the dipstick, the oil level should be comfortably between the maximum and minimum points. Reinsert the dipstick fully, and withdraw, check the oil level. Should the level be around the minimum mark or not showing, You need to top up the oil
If you need to top up, locate the oil filler cap.
To open the oil filler cap, turn anticlockwise
Carefully add the oil, mop up any spills with a paper towel. Add about a cupful at a time and recheck the dipstick level. Add more oil if needed. Remember, it can take 30 seconds or so for the oil to work its way through the engine, so allow for this
Always replace the cap and dipstick securely
Withdraw the dipstick and wipe clean with a paper towel
