Roadside wheel change

Lift the floor covering and unscrew the spare wheel clamp bolt.
Lift out the spare wheel . . .
. . then take out the jack and tools located in the spare wheel well.
Use the special tool or screwdriver provided to pull the wheel trim from the wheel or wheel nuts, then slacken each wheel nut by half a turn.
Locate the jack head below the jacking point nearest the wheel to be changed; the jacking point is indicated by a reinforced section in the sill. Ensure that the slot in the jack head engages with the sill flange at the jacking point. Raise the vehicle until the wheel is clear of the ground, then remove the wheel.
Fit the spare wheel and tighten the nuts moderately with the wheelbrace.
Lower the vehicle to the ground, then finally tighten the wheel nuts in a diagonal sequence. Refit the wheel trim. Note that the wheel nuts should be tightened to 110 Nm (81 Ibf ft) at the earliest opportunity.
