Engine code CGGA and BUD

1 Undo the screws and lift the front edge of the air filter cover, then disengage it from the rear edge (see illustrations) .
Undo the air filter cover screws …
… and lift the cover from place
2 Note its fitted position, then lift the element from the housing (see illustration) .
Remove the filter element
3 Remove any debris and wipe clean the interior of the housing.
4 Fit the new filter element in position.
5 Refit the cover and tighten the screws securely.

6 The air cleaner is located in front of the battery on the left-hand side of the engine compartment. First, remove the engine top cover.
7 Undo the screws and remove the lid from the air cleaner (see illustrations) .
Undo the screws …
… and remove the filter upper cover
8 Undo the screw and slide out the clamp, then remove the filter element from the housing (see illustrations) .
Undo the retaining screw …
… and remove the retaining clamp …
… followed by the air filter element
9 Fit the new filter element using a reversal of the removal procedure.
