In 2003, the 1.4-litre 16-valve petrol engine was introduced. In the autumn of 1999, Peugeot introduced the 2.0 litre turbodiesel. In 2001 the 1.4 litre HDi diesel engine was introduced. Other additions to the 206 range include the SW (Sports Wagon) and the CC (Cabriolet Coupe) models. A wide range of standard and optional equipment is available, including air-conditioning, central locking, electric windows and front, side and curtain airbags. Provided that regular servicing is carried out, the Peugeot 206 should prove reliable and very economical.
