The easiest method of engine identification is to use our vehicle registration mark (VRM) look-up function. This will identify the engine size, engine code, and power output.
You may find your engine details on a vehicle data label.
Your vehicle's data label may be either on the luggage compartment floor or in the spare tyre compartment.
The second row on your vehicle's data label includes the model code, engine type, engine power and date of manufacturer.
Engine data may be given on a data sticker attached to the drivers door pillar.
An engine identification label may be affixed to the cylinder head cover or timing belt cover.
The engine code may be visible on the cylinder head...
...or cylinder block
