The Volkswagen Polo Mk3 appeared in January 2000. It seemed very much a facelift of the previous Polo, although VW claimed it was 75% new. A wide range of standard equipment was available, including electric mirrors, tinted glass, twin airbags, power steering and ABS. Provided that regular servicing is carried out, the Volkswagen Polo should prove reliable and economical. At Haynes, we have an extensive range of Volkswagen repair manuals and online maintenance procedures available for professional mechanics and DIY car enthusiasts. Our VW Polo repair manual will help you at each stage of servicing or fixing your car.
