The VW T4 Transporter was introduced in December 1990 and continued in production until July 2003. The range was facelifted in May 1996. A vast number of bodystyles was available, in either short- or long-wheelbase configurations. The Transporter was available with 1.9-, 2.4- and 2.5-litre diesel engines, in a wide range of power outputs. Petrols engines comprised 1.8-, 2.0-, 2.5-, and 2.8-litre units.
