When BMW launched the R1200 motorbike range, it blended the dual functionality of sporty riding with a tourer style. A number of variations emerged from the R1200 series that evolved out of the previous R1150. The R1200R was known as the naked roadster, as it was lighter than its predecessors and able to deliver faster performance. The 1200cc engine contained four valves per cylinder, and an air/oil cooling system. Regular servicing and maintenance checks are fully recommended, as per our R1200 2007 - 2009 repair manuals. You’ll also find detailed step-by-step guidance on how to perform your own comprehensive repair work.
