Buick LaCrosse (2005 - 2013)

The Buick LaCrosse was launched for 2005 and was powered by either a 3.6-liter V6 engine or a 3.8 V6. Both drove the front wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. In 2008, a Super version was launched with a 5.3-liter V8 engine under the hood. The LaCrosse was originally intended to slot into the middle of Buick’s range, but as part of a redesign in 2010 it was made larger and moved upmarket. The 3.0-liter V6 was dropped and replaced by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. Tweaks thereafter have been minor. Haynes has an extensive range of Buick repair manuals and online maintenance procedures to suit professional mechanics and DIY car enthusiasts.
