About

The third-generation Chevrolet Corvette first saw the light of day in 1968, and the stunning design was futuristic enough to see the car through to 1982. The car was available as either a two-door coupe or a two-door convertible with engines varying from 5.0-liters through to 7.4-liters. It was available with either a four-speed manual transmission or a three-speed automatic. Sadly, the C3 Corvette became less powerful but heavier throughout its life, but nonetheless was one of the most popular Corvettes ever. At Haynes, we have an extensive range of Corvette repair manuals and online maintenance procedures available for professional mechanics and DIY car enthusiasts. Our Chevrolet Corvette C3 repair manual is here to help you through every stage of servicing or fixing your car.
