The Dodge D450 1978-1981 was a third generation, medium-duty chassis cab pickup truck. Part of the Chrysler-supported D-Series of pickups, the D450 featured options of 3.7 liter single barrel carburetor slant-6, or 5.2 liter two-barrel V8 and 5.9 liter four barrel carburetor V8 engines. The D450 also featured beefed-up suspension and structural reinforcements. Three speed automatic transmission was standard and the vehicle came with options of power assisted brakes and cruise control.
