The second-generation Dodge Intrepid was a luxury sedan that appeared in 1997. There was a choice of two new engines. One was a 200hp 2.7-liter V6, and the other was a 225hp 3.2-liter V6. However, in 1999 a new R/T model had a 242hp 3.5-liter V6 under the hood. Revisions throughout the car’s life were relatively minor, and comprised better audio equipment and styling additions such as spoilers. The car was discontinued in 2004. At Haynes, we have an extensive range of Dodge repair manuals and online maintenance procedures available for professional mechanics and DIY car enthusiasts. Our Dodge Intrepid repair manual is here to help you through every stage of servicing or fixing your car.
