The Dodge Ramcharger was a pick-up truck that was launched in 1974. From launch until 1980 it came without a roof – dealers could be tasked with fitted either a removable steel roof or a fabric top. In the first two years of the Ramcharger’s life, even the passenger seat was an optional extra. Another extra was a refrigerated center console. Engines were all V8, ranging from 5.2-liters up to 7.2 liters. In 1981, the second-generation Ramcharger was launched with a fixed steel roof. There were only two engines, both V8s of 5.2 liters or 5.9 liters. At Haynes, we have Dodge repair manuals and online maintenance procedures to suit professional mechanics and DIY car enthusiasts alike. Our Dodge Ramcharger manual will be able to help whether you're servicing or repairing your car.
