Honda Civic (1992 - 1995)

When the fifth-generation Honda Civic appeared in 1991 it was clear that it had spent quite a lot of development time in the wind tunnel. It was also bigger than its predecessor. It was available as a four-door sedan, a three-door hatchback or a two-door coupe. Petrol engines included a 1.5-liter four-cylinder motor with variable valve timing (VTEC) that produced 102hp. There was also a non-VTEC 1.5-liter engine that produced 70hp. All models were reasonably well equipped, even EX models getting cruise control, dual airbags and power mirrors. At Haynes, we have an extensive range of Honda repair manuals and online maintenance procedures available for professional mechanics and DIY car enthusiasts.
