The Lincoln MKX appeared in late 2006 as a rebadged, and more luxurious, version of the then-new Ford Edge. It was marketed as being more upmarket than the Edge, so had high-tech equipment such as swivelling projector-beam headlights, an auto-dim mirror, panoramic roof and climate control. It was powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produced 265hp, and transferred it through a six-speed automatic gearbox. No manual transmission was available. It was also available as either two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. In 2011, the Lincoln MKX was facelifted and given a new 305hp 3.7-liter V6 engine. At Haynes, we have an extensive range of Lincoln repair manuals and online maintenance procedures available for professional mechanics and DIY car enthusiasts. Our Lincoln MKX repair manual is here to help you through every stage of servicing or fixing your car.
