Founded by Henry M. Leland, Lincoln is a division of the Ford Motor Company that specialize in luxury vehicle manufacturing. The brand was founded in 1917 and has been part of Ford since 1922. Lincoln cars are mainly sold throughout North America, but were introduced to the Chinese market in 2014. There are a number of Lincoln cars that have become popular over the years, amongst which include the Continental and the Versailles. The Continental is a sedan that is primarily sold in North America. The Versailles was introduced in 1977, and is a smaller car compared to the Continental.

Lincoln also has a history of providing official state limousines for the United States President. The first car built for presidential use was unveiled in 1939, with the most recent one launched in 1989.
