The Nissan Versa was launched in North America in 2006 as a five-door hatchback, with the four-door sedan version appearing later that same year. Under the hood lay a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that produced 122hp. It drove the front wheels through either a six-speed manual transmission, a four-speed automatic or a CVT. When the Versa was launched, its low price made it the cheapest new car available in North America. All models were well equipped, with air-conditioning as standard, while higher trims had cruise control. Changes were minor, and mainly concerned cosmetics. The second-0generation car appeared in 2011, powered by a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine. At Haynes, we have an extensive range of Nissan repair manuals and online maintenance procedures available for professional mechanics and DIY car enthusiasts. Our Nissan Versa repair manual is here to help you through every stage of servicing or fixing your car.
