For 1996 the Plymouth Voyager was given a ground-up redesign. It became a four-door minivan with a hatchback rear and a sliding side door on the driver’s side. As with the sister Dodge Caravan, the Plymouth Voyager had an ingenious new seating system called Easy Out Roller Seats, which made folding or removing the seats easy – ideal for families. The engine range comprised a 2.4-liter four-cylinder and a 3.0-liter V6, both gasoline-powered. Towards the end of the car’s life it had air-conditioning as standard. However, the Plymouth brand in 2001, but the model continued as a Chrysler.
