Move the front passenger seat as far forward as possible. Move the right-side second-row seat as far rearward as possible. Pull up the floor mat behind the passenger seat. Note: There is one tab holding the mat in place. Remove the fastener securing the battery cover

Check if the Negative (-) terminal clamp is tight

Check if the Positive (+) terminal clamp is tight. CAUTION If using a wrench to tighten the terminal, be careful not to short the wrench on the bodywork!

Check that the battery is generally secure, if loose, tighten the battery hold-down fasteners. Replace the cover
