The windshield wiper and blade assembly should be inspected periodically for damage, loose components and cracked or worn blade elements

Road film can build up on the wiper blades and affect their efficiency, so they should be washed regularly with a mild detergent solution

If the wiper blade elements are cracked, worn or warped, or no longer clean adequately, they should be replaced with new ones

Lift the arm assembly away from the glass for clearance, depress the release lever, then slide the wiper blade assembly out of the hook in the end of the arm
(see below)
5 To release the blade holder, depress the release tab...
6 ...and pull the wiper blade in the direction of the windshield to separate it from the arm

Attach the new wiper to the arm. Connection can be confirmed by an audible click
