Vehicle identification

To select the Haynes DIY that is specific to your needs, we'll need to know which engine your vehicle has. This will typically be identified by the engine size, power output, and engine code.
You may find your engine details on a vehicle data label.
Your vehicle's data label may be either on the luggage compartment floor or in the spare tyre compartment.
The second row on your vehicle's data label includes the model code, engine type, engine power and date of manufacturer.
Engine data may be given on a data sticker attached to the drivers door pillar.
An engine identification label may be affixed to the cylinder head cover or timing belt cover.
