The Yamaha Kodiak and Grizzly are all-terrain vehicles (which also known as quad bikes). The Kodiak was available with a 400cc engine or a 450cc. The Grizzly was a much broader range, with engines available all the way from just 80cc all the way up to 660cc. The Grizzly’s off-road credentials are enhanced by the inclusion of four-wheel drive that’s activated by a push button, and a differential lock. Early versions of the Grizzly had a single rear shock with a rigid rear axle, whereas later versions had twin shocks and independent rear suspension, which are said to have greatly enhanced the vehicle’s handling characteristics. At Haynes, we have an extensive range of Yamaha repair manuals and online maintenance procedures available for professional mechanics and DIY car enthusiasts. Our Yamaha Grizzly and Kodiak repair manual is here to help you through every stage of servicing or fixing your ATV.
