The Chevrolet Trailblazer was the first generation of Chevy's mid-size sport utility range. It was based on the GMT360 truck platform with hydroformed frame rails. Two and four-wheel drive versions were available with four-speed automatic transmission.
All models featured independent front suspension with shock absorber units, and solid rear-axle suspension. Power assisted steering and ABS brakes were standard.
Typical maintenance includes regular engine oil and coolant level checks, six-month drive belt checks, and yearly exhaust system checks.
