The Audi A4 from 1996-2001 was Audi’s initial launch into the beginner stage luxury market of vehicles. Throughout each generation, the A4 was available in numerous styles including sedan, coupe and station wagon (Avant). Audi A4’s produced between 1996 and 2001 are powered by either a turbocharged 1.8 liter four-cylinder engine or a SOHC or DOHC V6 engine.
