About

The fourth-generation Chevrolet Camaro was launched in 1993, with a familiar recipe. It was a two-door coupe with rear-wheel drive and 2+2 seating in the cabin. Under the hood was a range of V6 or V8 engines., including a V8 engine that the Camaro Z28 shared with the Chevrolet Corvette. The Z28 had a four-speed automatic gearbox as standard, which was odd given that lesser models had five-speed manuals. Come 1997 there were interior and exterior tweaks, and later a switch to a new V8 engine. The Camaro was discontinued in 2002 (although it would be reborn in 2010). Haynes has an extensive range of Chevrolet repair manuals and online maintenance procedures to suit professional mechanics and DIY car enthusiasts. Our Chevrolet Camaro repair manual will be able to help throughout servicing or fixing your car.
