You're probably aware that new combustion-engined cars will disappear from showrooms in the Australian Capital Territory from 2035. You'll still be able to buy used vehicles with petrol or diesel engines after these dates – and we anticipate that you'll still be able to refuel them at filling stations for at least another couple of decades. But for this small part of the country (at the moment), new petrol and diesel vehicles just won't be an option.
So should all of us be thinking about going electric? Andy at Big Car has owned a Tesla Model 3 for a while but he's not convinced that EVs are going to be the answer for everyone in every country in the coming years. So what's the answer? Watch his video to hear his thoughts.
