Oldsmobile was founded in 1897 and enjoyed 107 years of automotive manufacturing before it closed in 2004. It produced a total of 35.2 million cars and the brand still remains a trademark of the General Motors Corporation. The Toronado was a luxury car introduced in 1966, and was the largest, most powerful front-wheel drive car ever produced at the time. Oldsmobile was well-known for its participation in NASCAR.
