About

The Citroën C3 was introduced in early 2002. At its launch, the 5-door hatchback was offered with a choice of 1.4- and 1.6-litre petrol engines or a 1.4-litre HDi turbodiesel. Later that year a 1.1-litre petrol engine and a 16-valve version of the 1.4 HDi were added. In 2005 a 1.6 HDi was added to the range. All engines are fitted with a manual transmission as standard, with an automatic transmission being optionally available on some models. A wide range of standard and optional equipment is available, including air-conditioning, central locking, electric windows and front, side and curtain airbags. Provided that regular servicing is carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations, the Citroen C3 should prove economical, and most of the items requiring frequent attention are easily accessible. At Haynes, we have an extensive range of Citroen repair manuals and online maintenance procedures available for professional mechanics and DIY car enthusiasts. Our Citroen C3 repair manuals will guide you through servicing and fixing your car.
