This fourth generation of Ford Mondeo appeared in 2007. The range was simplified and underwent a cosmetic face-lift in the autumn of 2010. An extensive range of petrol and diesel engines is available, with the most popular being the 2.0-litre Duratec-HE petrol engines, and the 1.8- and 2.0-litre Duratorq diesels. Hydraulic power-assisted steering is standard on all models. Provided that regular servicing is carried out the Mondeo should prove a reliable and economical car, and our Ford Mondeo repair manual is here to help you through every stage of servicing or fixing your car.
