About
The fifth-generation Toyota Corolla hit United States shores in 1984. It was available as a four-door sedan, a three-door hatchback or a five-door hatch, and it also had a US-built sister car called the Chevrolet Nova. Under the hood lay a choice of two 1.6-liter four-cylinder engines or a 1.8-liter four, all of which drove the front wheels through either a five-speed manual gearbox of three- or four-speed automatic. Haynes has an extensive range of Toyota repair manuals and online maintenance procedures to suit professional mechanics and DIY car enthusiasts. Our Toyota Corolla repair manual will be able to help whether you're servicing or repairing your car.
