About

The Datsun 240Z was a two-seat sports coupe that was introduced to the United States in 1970. It had a 155hp 2.4-liter straight six-cylinder engine that drove the rear wheels through a four-speed manual gearbox. In 1971, a three-speed automatic would also be introduced. Tweaks occurred throughout the model’s life, but they were mainly of the cosmetic variety, such as bumper overriders and badging changes. Haynes has an extensive range of Datsun and Nissan repair manuals and online maintenance procedures to suit professional mechanics and DIY car enthusiasts. Our Datsun 240Z repair manual will be able to help whether you're servicing or repairing your car.
